Freeze dried candy and fruit are simply just that! It’s candy and fruit that have undergone a process called “freeze drying”.

This chemical-free process consists of placing the product (fruit, candy, breast milk, cheese, etc.) into a freeze drying machine that freezes the product -40F or colder. Once the sensors in the machine detect that the product is fully frozen, the machine goes into a vacuum seal state. This step removes all the moisture that is in the product, this is called sublimation. The freeze dryer then then slowly heats to the desired temperature (between 90 and 150 degrees), which locks the product into place, thus finalizing the process with a crunchy, airy, melt-in-your-mouth product!

Yes! MumNums is certified by the Niagara Public Health unit. We also have valid Food Handler Certification as well to ensure we are fully up to code & standards!

• Order online & select “pick up” from 5 Jane St., Smithville, Ontario. Your order will be ready within 48 hours.
• Order online & select “Delivery” at check out. Orders will be shipped within 48 hours and will be delivered within 2 weeks (pending shipping delays).
• Visit one of our four amazing stores that we have partnered with to hold our delicious products! Check out the below maps for location details!
• Visit us during one of our events and test out our freeze dried strawberries and/or skittles (if available) prior to purchasing your favourites!

We personally deliver your order within one week of ordering if you live in Niagara, Hamilton, or the surrounding areas. If you are outside these areas, we are happy to ship anywhere across Canada via Canada Post!
